    Adilene Rosales is an artist based in Mission, Texas. She received her BFA and is currently an MFA student at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Edinburg, Tx.

Adilene’s figurative ceramic work and installations focus on raising awareness for Childhood cancer based on statistics and family experiences with this disease. Her ceramic sculptures are the main body of work. She utilizes materials that are usually seen in medical facilities; to give viewers a better understanding of what these children experience while battling this disease.

Adilene hopes that her sculptures will make the viewer feel compelled and take action. She plans on continuing to raise awareness through her art and help raise funds for research and families affected by childhood cancer.
